Thomas Andre is a National Level Hunter, meaning that he has the strength to rival the military might of a country. Naturally, he is one of the most feared people in the world. Thomas Andre is the leader of the Scavenger Guild, which is the strongest guild in America. Like a lot of other guilds, the Scavenger Guild became popular because of the Guild Master, who in this case was Thomas Andre.
Thomas Andre achieved king-like status after he and four other Hunters brought down Kamish, a legendary magic beast responsible for the deaths of hundreds of Hunters. Following their victory, Thomas Andre and his allies were named National Level Hunters. As a result, they received special privileges wherever they went.
Thomas Andre is rather aggressive, and he never backs down from a fight. Despite his somewhat obnoxious nature, he respects his opponents and allies. Thomas Andre also makes sure that his subordinates are not hurt by anyone else. This was evident from his battle with Jinwoo. Even though Dongsoo refused to follow orders, Andre decided to fight Jinwoo because he didn’t want to lose his underling. Even though Thomas Andre ended up losing the fight, he was graceful and did not bear any ill will towards Sung Jinwoo.
How Strong Is Thomas Andre?
As previously stated, Thomas Andre is a National Level Hunter, meaning he’s one of the strongest individuals in Solo Leveling. The Rulers bestowed him with their power, which helped the Hunter to take down Kamish. Their power significantly increased his physical attributes to the point where he could generate strong winds with his punches alone.
Since Thomas Andre is a Tanker type, it means he can withstand a ton of damage easily. The Goliath has a near-impenetrable defense, and even Sung Jinwoo struggled to penetrate it. Thomas Andre is also able to use telekinesis to pull things towards him. This particular skill is rather handy and can be used to deal with aerial threats.Thomas Andre was able to hold his own against Jinwoomomentarily, which is a testament to his strength.
Can Thomas Andre Beat A Monarch?
The Goliath Cannot Beat A Monarch
Thomas Andre fought against Rakan in Solo Leveling, and the outcome was not what the former was expecting. Initially, the Hunter was able to land afew hits on the Beast Monarch, which impressed the onlookers. For a moment, it seemed that Rakan would be overwhelmed, but the tide of the battle turned almost instantly when the Beast Monarch became serious.

Rakan pummeled Thomas Andre effortlessly and put him on the cusp of death. This incident proves that Rakan was far superior to the Hunter and was holding back. If he had gone all out from the start, it’s safe to say that Thomas Andre would have died. However, it would be remiss not to mention that not all Monarchs have the same power level. Some of them, like the Shadow Monarch and the Dragon Monarch, are far superior to the rest. So, someone like the Monarch of Insects is weaker.
Therefore, there is a possibility that Thomas Andre would have fared better against her. But based off his display against Rakan, it would be impossible for Thomas Andre to beat a Monarch.
