Min Byung-Gu became a fan favorite amongSolo Levelingfans due to his crucial role in the Jeju Island story arc.A skillful S-rank healer, he carried the most elite hunters from Korea throughout the fourth raid, never failing to temporarily boost their stats, heal their wounds and status defects, in addition to providing support from the back end. With his skillset, he was treated as the true MVP of the Jeju Island arc, rather than the strongest hunter, Sung Jin-Woo.

However, his tragic yet heroicdeath at the hands of the Ant Kingcut his role short inSolo Leveling. His sudden demise took him out of the story earlier than expected, which upset some fans. After all, no other S-rank healer had emerged among the hunters aside from Min Byung-Gu. But based on the events of theSolo Levelingmanhwa, there’s still a slim chance fans could see him once again in the anime, possibly inSolo Levelingseason 3, unless there are major adjustments.

An Important Scene With Cha Hae-In
IfSolo Levelingseason 3 stays faithful to the webtoon or the manhwa, Min Byung-Gu could appear inthe Ahjin Guild arc. This story arc happens shortly after the Recruitment Arc, which starts in chapter 111 and ends in chapter 122. This is when Cha Hae-In tries her luck to enter the newly established Ahjin Guild, in the hopes of learning more about Jin-Woo and fighting by his side.
If this happens in the anime, Cha Hae-In would be instrumental in Min Byung-Gu’s short appearance in the third season. Specifically, in chapter 115, Cha Hae-In would remember Min Byung-Gu’s shadow, asking her to tell Jin-Woo to be careful of the powers that lie within him. This memory might have happened during the Jeju Island incident, when Min Byung-Guhealed Cha Hae-In and saved her life.

Despite thechanges in the anime, there’s still a good chance that Min Byung-Gu’s short but meaningful scene with Cha Hae-In during the Ahjin Guild arc could be adapted intoSolo Levelingseason 3. Not only would it make the fans, especially those who have a huge spot for the deceased S-rank healer, happy, but it would also add depth to the narrative behind Sung Jin-Woo’s growing powers.
In addition, the scene with Min Byung-Gu would offer a fresh look atSung Jin-Woo’s shadows, as he was one of the few who retained his former self and personality. It would also delight Cha Hae-In fans who want to see more of her and her relationship with Jin-Woo develop. After all, Cha Hae-In would receive a new opportunity to meet with Jin-Woo again to deliver Min Byung-Gu’s message.
