And we obviously need more money for those aliens. We want it to look real good for that 2026 crowd. But for us it’s just about developing the story, and making sure Moses and the rest of the characters that we have left are fully hashed out before bringing it out and going to shoot. But I’m very passionate and very willing that we will shoot Attack the Block 2. It will happen. You’re going to have to see, but the story is crazy. I’ve got to get in the gym, Jesus.
Attack The Block 2May Finally Be On The Way After Years Of Rampant Speculation
Attack the Blockfans have been hoping for a sequel for nearly fifteen years, with many thinking Boyega’sStar Warsfame or Cornish’s continued prowess as a writer may see the project come to fruition. However, despite teasers over the years, the cult classic has yet to produce a follow-up film. Nick Frost had notoriety at the time of the film’s release,thanks toShaun of the Dead, and Jodie Whittaker has since shot to fame with her time as The Doctor onDoctor Who, but no characters beyond Boyega’s Moses look to be confirmed for the project at the time.
While no official date has been given for production onAttack the Block 2, Boyega dropped several hints that may point toward the project moving forward. Boyega mentioned that they “need more money for those aliens,” which means the production may be attempting to secure financing.
