While it may not be Respawn’s usualStar Warsfare, the concept has a ton of potential to shine.

Collaborating with Bit Reactor, Respawn Entertainment is set to bring players back to the Clone Wars throughStar Wars Zero Company. It remains to be seen if that blend works, but the title already seems to have a significant advantage within the turn-based strategy genre. These types of titles thrive on the variety of combat, and throughout theStar Warsgalaxy, there’s no shortage of enemies for the studio to pull from. Plus, these enemies don’t have to just be pulled from the pre-established canon, as the era is rife with potential for exciting original foes.

Because of that, there are countless races for Bit Reactor and Respawn to pull from when building out its enemy roster. Players could fight back against the Tusken Raiders on Tatooine, defend themselves against an onslaught of Geonosians on Geonosis, go to war against criminal syndicates like the Pykes or Hutts, or even go head-to-head with the Nightsisters of Dathomir. In the chaos of the Clone Wars, there are tons of planets that Zero Company has good reason to touch down on, and virtually limitless groups waiting to take them out.

Not only does the abundance of planets giveStar Wars Zero Companyso many races to choose from, but so too does the primary antagonist of the Clone Wars: the Separatists.During the Clone Wars, the Separatists utilized a massive droid army to resist the influence of the Galactic Republic. In canon media, the army is already made up of a wide assortment of different droid types that could make for some powerful enemies. Outside of that, Respawn and Bit Reactor can introduce their own unique takes on droid models, as the Separatists were well-known for testing a wide assortment of different unit types.
