While many are eager to boot up the game on PC and to take advantage of the countless mods that will likely hit the web in the coming weeks, a serious problem has been discovered, hampering many players' efforts to access theStellar Bladepage on Steam.
Yesterday, it was discovered that theSteam version ofStellar Bladehad been blockedin over 100 countries for unknown reasons. Now, Shift Up is seeking to assure eager players, stating in a new Twitter post that the development team is discussing the odd region lock issue with Sony and doing its best to resolve things as quickly as possible. The post also provided some additional details about the upcoming PC release, explicitly stating that, while players are welcome to connect their PSN accounts, they are not required to do so. Mods will be fully supported inStellar Blade’s PC release with no restrictions, something many players welcome. Unfortunately, the title will still include the controversial Denuvo DRM system.

Many are eager to see how the game sells on PC once this region lock issue is addressed.
Hyung-tae recently revealed his Game of the Year for 2025, with theStellar Bladeboss praisingClair Obscur: Expedition 33and confirming that he had reached Platinum in the popular RPG after 96 hours of playtime.
