8Jake The Dog
Series: Adventure Time
Jake the Dog is the deuteragonist ofAdventure Timeandthe friend and adoptive brother of Finn the Human. In the show, Jake possesses a unique ability known as “stretchy powers.” This allows him to manipulate the size and shape of his body, which has been helpful during the pair’s many adventures in the Land of Ooo.
With his stretchy powers, Jake can extend his limbs, alter his mass, and morph his body into various shapes. One notable manifestation of this ability is the Jake Suit, where he transforms into a muscular suit of armor that wraps around Finn, enhancing Finn’s abilities as well. Although this power is quite impressive, it does have certain limitations, which is why it is ranked lower in terms of overall strength.
7Dexter
Series: Dexter’s Laboratory
Despite being just a child, Dexter is a genius who operates a secret laboratory hidden behind the bookshelf in his bedroom. In this lab, he has created a multitude of contraptions and inventions.
Some examples of his creations include: a computer (which serves as the AI system in his laboratory), the Robo-Dexo 2000 (a giant robotic suit), and Monkey (a superhero monkey with super-strength, telekinesis, flight, and super-speed abilities). Dexter has the remarkable ability to create pretty much anything he imagines, and his true genius knows no bounds.
6Generator Rex
Series: Generator Rex
In the world ofGenerator Rex, certain individuals are known as EVOs, which stands for Exponentially Variegated Organisms, meaning they possess superpowers. The most well-known and perhaps themost powerful of these EVOs is Rex Salazar, the main character of the show.
Rex’s abilities enable him to create machines from various parts of his body. For example, he can form giant axes or weapons from his hands, and even rocket-propelled boots from his feet. Additionally, Rex can heal any wounds on his body, as the machine parts essentially repair themselves. The limits of Rex’s powers seem almost endless.
5Grim
Series: The Grim Adventures Of Billy & Mandy
Grim is the Grim Reaper,an undead skeletal representation of Death. After losing a limbo competition, Grim was forced to become the best friend of Billy and Mandy, or risk losing his powers. As a spawn of the Underworld, he possesses various demonic abilities, including levitation, laser eyes, and the power to generate fire.
While he has demonstrated some powers independently, most of his abilities derive from his scythe. The scythe’s main function is to create portals to escort souls awaiting passage to the “other side.” Additionally, it can create earthquakes, possess the living, and allows Grim to alter his size and shape at will. Since much of his power is tied to an artifact, he cannot be ranked much higher.
4Steven Universe
Series: Steven Universe
Steven Universe is a human/gem hybrid, which gives him the ability to use gem magic and a variety of powers throughout the show. Some of these powers include shapeshifting, shield projection, and enhanced strength and speed. But there is a whole host of different abilities, some of which he has more control over than others.
His powers are strongest when he enters his Pink State, a transformation triggered by stress as a defense mechanism. In this form, his power levels are significantly boosted, allowing him to fly and reach near-light speeds. However, he struggles to control this type of power at all, and it only activates in times of trouble.
3Aku
Series: Samurai Jack
Aku, the arch-nemesis of Samurai Jack, was born from the Black Mass of Darkness as an evil, shapeshifting demon. He ruled the world for countless eons until Jack finally defeated him in the series finale. Throughout the series,Aku displayed a powerset that rivaled many others, showcasing his immortality as he reigned over the world for centuries.
His primary ability was shapeshifting, allowing him to take on various forms, including animals and weapons. He used this skill to deceive Jack and his allies. However, his sadistic nature often led him to boast about his achievements rather than finishing the job, ultimately allowing Jack to gain the upper hand and defeat him in the end. Some may argue that Samurai Jack is the more powerful, but on powers alone, Aku takes it.
Series: The Powerpuff Girls
Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup are the Powerpuff Girls, a trio of child superheroes created by Professor Utonium using a combination of sugar, spice, everything nice, and Chemical X, which grants them superpowers. Each member of the team possesses great strength, speed, and the ability to fly, along with their unique abilities and personalities that complement their strengths and weaknesses.
Blossom is the leader, known for being the smartest of the trio and having a powerful ice breath. Bubbles is the kindest and most childlike, with strong control over her sound-based powers and a proficiency with animals. Buttercup is the strongest and fastest member, serving as the team’s brawn.
