Overwatch 2Season 16 introducedStadium mode—a new gameplay option that has players go up against one another in a series of mini-rounds to earn currency. After each round ends, they can then use that currency to purchase Items to go with their Powers, creating a custom hero build. Spending credits wisely and crafting synergies between abilities and Powers is key to securing victory, so you’ll want to make sure you lock in the right choices as the game progresses.

The Best Overwatch Stadium DPS Builds, Explained
Stadium became available at the beginning ofOverwatch 2’sSeason 16, offering seventeen heroes for players to choose from on the launch roster. In theDPS department, there are six out of nineteen characters currently available:Genji, Reaper, Ashe, Cassidy, Soldier: 76, and Mei.Here are the best builds for these characters across the entire DPS role, as ofOverwatch 2’sStadium launch.
While these are some of the best builds, they will obviously also thrive more or less depending on the opposition’s picks. For example, a Lifesteal Blossom Reaper build likely won’t do as well against a D.Va, who can eat the Blossoms and negate Lifesteal, as it would against a Junker Queen or Reinhardt.
Dynamite Ashe Build
Description:Significantly buffyour Dynamitesto cause extra explosion effects and radius, then pump ability power, Lifesteal, and cooldown reduction to make a big impact. In the late game, finalize with B.O.B Jr. and item selection to use your Dynamites for farming your Ult. Charge in every other team fight.
Dynamite Ashe Build - Powers
Round 1: Molten Munitions- When Dynamite explodes on the ground, it leaves lava that Burns enemies for 50 damage every 1s.
Round 3:Out With a Bang -When Dynamite explodes, it spawns 3 sticky explosives that deal 66% reduced damage.
Round 5: Early Detonation -Shooting Dynamite reloads 5 Ammo and reduces the cooldown of Dynamite by 3s.
Round 7: B.O.B Jr. -B.O.B. costs 50% less Ultimate Charge but has reduced Life, 50% reduced Attack Speed, and is significantly smaller.
Dynamite Ashe Build - Late-Game Items (Rounds 6-7)
Backline Damage Reaper Build
Description:Take key Powers and Itemsto increase Reaper’s self-sustainand impact on the enemy backline. Pump weapon damage and attack speed, and then rinse and repeat your cooldowns to keep yourself alive, confirming kills and farming Ult. Charge at close range.
Death Blossom Reaper Build - Powers
Round 1: Death Step- After using Shadow Step, cast Death Blossom for 1.5s with 50% reduced damage.
Round 3:Wraith Renewal -While in Wraith Form, restore 10% of your HP every 1s. Double this when below 50% HP.
Round 5: Shrouded Shrapnel -Using Wrath Form increases the number of pellets per shot in your next magazine by 25% and its spread by 50%.
Round 5: Revolving Ruin -Close-range (7m) Hellfire Shotgun hits grant 5% Attack Speed for 1s, stacking up to 8 times.
Death Blossom Reaper Build - Late Game Items (Round 6-7)
Rocket Soldier: 76 Build
Description:Significantlybuff your Pulse Rifle and Helix Rocketsto create devastating combos that deal massive bursts of damage. By selecting the right Items, you’re able to boost your weapon power and ability power (Rockets), enabling you to open with Helix to gain a mini Tac. Visor on the target, then stack power with Chaingun. This shreds most squishies in 1v1, so you can use Sprint to flank, constantly change position, and harass the enemy from off-angles.
Rocket Soldier: 76 Build - Powers
Round 1: Super Visor- After using Helix Rocket, activate Tactical Visor for 0.75s.
Round 3:Peripheral Pulse -During Tactical Visor, Pulse Rifle shoots one additional enemy, dealing 50% damage.
Round 5: Double Helix -Helix Rocket fires a second homing Helix Rocket that deals 70% damage.
Round 7: Chaingun- While continuously shooting Pulse Rifle, each shot gains +0.5% weapon power, stacking up to 100 times.
Rocket Soldier: 76 Build - Late Game Items (Rounds 6-7)
Ammo Buff Cassidy Build
Description:Use key Perks and Items to buff your Max Ammo, giving you many more bullets to fire in each team fight. In addition to this, gain bonus benefits from critical hits and eliminations. Buff weapon power and speed to increase your fire rate and become a bigger threat for squishes, as well as be able to shredTankswith more ease.
Ammo Buff Cassidy Build - Powers
Full House- For each Ammo available, Peacekeeper’s primary fire gains 1% increased damage, up to 25%.
Dead Man Walking- Eliminating an enemy you’ve recently critically hit grants 1 Max Ammo for the round.
Flash In The Pan- Eliminating an enemy recently damaged by Flashbang grants 15% Ultimate Charge.
Hot Potato- Flashbang adds 3 extra Ammo on hit until Peacekeeper is reloaded.
Ammo Buff Cassidy Build - Late Game Items (Rounds 6-7)
Freeze-Brawl Mei Build
Description:Significantly buff Mei’s survivability through Cryo-Freeze powers and buffs. Additionally, look to pump Mei’s weapon power and fire rate for more deadly icicle projectiles that can dish out surprising amounts of DPS. Mei can play very aggressively with this build and help lead brawl fights—it’s particularly strong when run alongside the likes of a Reaper and Rein/Zarya/JQ.
Freeze-Brawl Mei Build - Powers
Coulder- Cryo-Freeze now encases you in a rolling iceball that can knock back enemies and deal 20 damage.
Cryclone- Cryo-Freeze spawns a mini Blizzard that slows enemies.
Snowball Flight- Jumping while mid-air creates a large Ice Wall pillar under you. (12s Cooldown).
Freeze-Brawl Mei Build - Late Game Items (Rounds 6-7)
Dash & Slash Hard Dive Genji Build
Description:Enable Genji’s backline diving potential by building around his Dash damage with increased power and cooldown reduction. Genji’s melees are important for confirming kills, so Lifesteal also comes into play to grant him more survivability and the potential to harass the enemy with more pressure.

Take Aim Freja Build
Description:Build around your Take Aim ability with additional effects, ammo buffing, and cooldown reduction to make Freja much more of a problem, applying constant pressure on the enemy. By playing aggressively and hitting your shots with this build, you will gain a lot of value.
Take Aim Freja Build - Late Game Items (Round 6-7)
One-Shot Bomber Junkrat Build
Description:While Junkrat is a very spammy hero, this build picks out key bonus effects that synergize very well together, as well as buffing his grenades with more damage potential, effectively letting him one-shot enemy squishies when everythig comes into play.
