With the introduction of Amphoreus, players have been introduced to the Remembrance path inHonkai: Star Rail, a unique classification that does not strictly define a character’s role. While some characters, such as Aglaea and Castorice, are DPS-oriented, the Remembrance Trailblazer, functions more as a buffer or support unit. The arrival of Hyacine further diversifies the path’s capabilities, as she operates as both a sub-DPS and a healer, primarily through her summon.
Although Hyacine can theoretically fit into any composition that requires a healer, certain teams benefit from her more than others. In particular, main DPS units that scale with HP synergize exceptionally well with her kit, as her Ultimate significantly boosts their max HP, directly improving their damage output. However, since Hyacine does not provide energy generation or ATK-based buffs and functions as an SP-negative unit, she may not be an optimal choice for teams that struggle with skill point management. Below are her best team members inHonkai: Star Rail.
Hyacine’s signature light cone,Long May Rainbows Adorn the Sky, enhances her value in specific setups and broadens her versatility when equipped. Its effects benefit characters like Acheron, as its mechanics count as a debuff, contributing toAcheron’s overall damage output. However, when evaluating Hyacine separately from her light cone’s advantages, she may not necessarily be a better choice for Acheron over other healers like Gallagher, who can actively inflict debuffs himself.
Given this, team compositions in this guide will be based on Hyacine’s core kit, rather than relying on her signature light cone’s additional utility.
Castorice + Tribbie + Remembrance Trailblazer + Hyacine
Best Hyacine Team Overall
Castorice is an obvious pairing for Hyacinedue to her HP-scaling mechanics, but their synergy runs deeper than just shared scaling. Hyacine’s kit complements Castorice exceptionally well, as she benefits greatly from frequent healing and overhealing, reducing the need to wait for a healer’s turn or reapply effects manually. While characters likeGallagher can fulfill this rolewith the Besotted debuff, specifically for content like Pure Fiction, which includes fast-paced enemy waves, make Hyacine’s immediate healing capabilities particularly valuable over Gallagher
Beyond Castorice, Hyacine’s HP increase buff enhances Tribbie’s damage potential, as Tribbie’s sub-DPS role relies on high team HP to maximize output. This results in a composition that not only boosts Castorice’s damage but also enables Tribbie and Hyacine to contribute significantly. However, due to the limited availability of these characters, adding the Remembrance Trailblazer to the team is a strong choice. Their team-wide Crit DMG buff benefits Hyacine as well, further reinforcing the composition’s damage potential. Additionally, with the exception of Hyacine, all members of this team are skill point neutral or positive, making skill point management much easier and reducing concerns over Hyacine’s SP-negative nature.
Hyacine herself does not have a built-in HP drain mechanic to accelerate Castorice’s Ultimate, but her signature light cone, introduces this effect, making her even more synergistic with Castorice (or even Blade for that matter). Since this light cone belongs to the Remembrance path, players who don’t plan to pull for Hyacine but want this mechanic for their team can instead equip it on Remembrance Trailblazer.
Mydei + Tribbie + Sunday + Hyacine
Premium Mydei Team with Hyacine
Mydei can work well with Hyacine as an HP-scaling healing unit, though their synergy is more limited compared to Castorice. Unlike Castorice, Mydei does not rely on overhealing, making Hyacine’s healing less essential for his kit, especially considering that there are moreF2P friendly options like Luocha. However, her HP increase for all allies and her summon’s damage output can provide additional comfort, particularly in teams where Mydei or other characters are underinvested. While Mydei does not require as much sustain as some units, pairing him with Hyacine can enable even more efficient double DPS team setups alongside Castorice.
Mydei also does not benefit significantly from Hyacine’s signature light cone, as its HP drain mechanic does not meaningfully accelerate his charge. For additional synergy, Sunday and Tribbie make excellent teammates. Sunday offers Crit Rate, Crit DMG, Advance Forward, and a general damage buff to enhance Mydei’s attack frequency. Meanwhile, Tribbie provides RES Pen and contributes to the team in ways similar to the Castorice setup. Furthermore, if players need more advance forward,they can equip Tribbie with Dance! Dance! Dance!to increase her synergy with Sunday as well. Those that don’t have access to Tribbie, can still benefit well from support units like Ruan Mei, or even Remembrance Trailblazer or Pela.
Since Mydei prioritizes using his Skill over his Basic Attack, he remains SP-neutral in most scenarios. Similarly, Sunday follows the same pattern unless equipped with his light cone, which shifts him into SP-positive. Given this dynamic, if Sunday does not have his light cone, despite Tribbie being SP-positive, players may run into skill point management challenges when using Hyacine with him.
The Herta + Anaxa + Robin + Hyacine
The Herta Team with Hyacine
While The Herta does not directly benefit from Hyacine’s HP buff, Hyacine’s ability to generate stacks for The Herta make her a valuable option for The Herta teams, particularly if Lingsha is unavailable. If players have Lingsha, Hyacine may be less necessary, as both sustain units are SP-hungry.Unlike Lingsha, Hyacine does not need to frequently use her skill to trigger her summon’s attacks for overhealing, making her easier to manage in terms of skill point usage—especially compared to Castorice teams. This allows for smoother rotations and better overall efficiency in The Herta compositions, where maintaining stacks and skill point economy is a priority. Additionally, because The Herta teams typically feature two Erudition characters, Hyacine can take advantage of The Herta’s Crit DMG buff, increasing her own damage—a benefit that Lingsha does not receive to the same extent. However, Lingsha may still be preferable when facing five or more enemies due to her mechanics scaling better in those situations.
Anaxa stands out as one of the best supports or sub-DPS units for The Herta teams. His high personal damage, teamwide 50% DMG boost, and ability to implant weaknesses into enemies provide direct advantages for The Herta’s damage output, while also generating energy to enable her Ultimate more frequently. His buff further enhances Hyacine’s own damage potential. While Sunday and Tribbie are strong team options, Robin is also highly effective. Robin offers powerful general buffs, advance forward effects, and remains SP neutral or positive, improving energy generation and creating more opportunities for The Herta to gain additional stacks.
For similar reason to The Herta teams, Hyacine can also work well for Feixiao teams, in case players can’t utilize Lingsha or Adventurine for her.
