Funko Pop! Darth Vader Impressions Figure
The Dark Side of the Samurai.
Some of the coolest Funko figures that have been rolling out are the Impressions line. These Pop! figures are alternative takes on the design of your favorite characters. For theStar Warsuniverse,Funko has altered designs to give prominent people a samurai aesthetic. When you see them all, you’ll likely consider theStar WarsImpressions figures as the best of the bunch. So take advantage of the buy two, get one free sale while you can.
The top-selling option is, of course, theFunko Pop! Impressions Darth Vader. This Funko is sick. The 5-inch vinyl bobblehead has an extremely intimidating pose. Vader wears his iconic black mask as a samurai Kabuto. His left fist is clenched in anger, and his right hand holds a katana instead of his typical fiercely red lightsaber. It’s essentially the same design as the Darth Vader players aretrying to conquer inFortniteright now.
The Funko Pop! Impressions figures are typically sold as exclusives only throughthe Funko Store.
Funko Pop! Mandalorian with Grogu Impressions Figure
Star Wars: The New Class
WhenStar Warswas seemingly in a lull,The Mandalorianshowed up to save the day. We eventually learned that the duo of The Mandalorian and “Baby Yoda” were officially named Din Djarin and Grogu. And we’ve been hooked on the pair’s adventures ever since.
Just like the Vader Impressions figure, theMandalorian with Grogu Impressions Figureis tweaked with a samurai twist. His helmet flairs out like a samurai Kabuto. The Mandalorian’s armor has a more Japanese-inspired feel. And the bounty hunter is even wearing geta footwear to complete the samurai-based look.
Funko Pop! Rey Skywalker Impressions Figure
The Onna-musha.
The poster child of the modernStar Warsmovies still appears to beRey Skywalker. The new leader of the Jedi looks awesome in her Impressions form. Funko designed her to appear as though she stepped right out of your favorite manga.
Rey wears her vinyl hair in a traditional Japanese odanga, complete with sticks to keep it secured in place. Her katana is in her right hand, and the katana’s saya is in her left. She’s wearing a type of kimono instead of her typical Jedi garb. And the Funko even sports geta footwear to complete the look.If you’re a Rey fan and a Funko collector, this one is a must-have.
Funko Pop! Kylo Ren Impressions Figure
Vader who?
Sure, the Darth Vader Impression Figure looks awesome. But there are going to be a ton of people who think thisKylo Ren Impressions Figureis dramatically cooler. Just likeKylo Renin the movies, this Funko figure just exudes anger. It’s intimidating to say the least, and certainly a worthy relative of Lord Vader himself.
Just like Ren’s helmet in the films, the Kylo Ren Impressions Figure’s kabuto is cracked throughout with bright red bleeding through the seams.Kylo’s crossguard lightsaber is replicated incredibly here, too. Instead of being depicted as a katana or typical lightsaber, it’s covered in flames, which makes the figure all the more scary.
The Kylo Ren bobblehead wears yoroi armor throughout its design to complete the overall samurai setup. The entire design is one of our absolute favorites, andcertainly a top choice to be part of Funko’s buy two, get one free deal.
