Despite releasing alongside Season 3 Reloaded on June 17, 2025, the High Art Event Pass and theBlack Ops 6Blaze of Gloryevent are all heavily themed around April 20th, or “4/20,” the unofficial holiday celebrated by cannabis enthusiasts. In keeping with the motif, the playable Seth Rogen Fired Up Operator wears clothing covered in marijuana leaf designs. Rogen also appears as the host of the Blaze of Glory game show, dispensing rewards like calling cards, weapon charms, decals, and emotes, many of them weed-themed.
Reaction from players was roundly negative, with many complaining that the silly crossovers and celebrity tie-ins don’t fitCall of Duty’s military shooter origins, a complaint previously leveled against crossovers like theWarhammer 40,000skins and the recentBlack Ops 6andSquid Gamecrossover. Regarding the Rogen skins specifically, some players did express their appreciation, calling Seth’s laugh “hilarious” to hear when scoring kills.
