Attack On Titanisone of the biggest anime and manga series in history. The darker themes of the story and the characters definitely made the story stand out.
Sadly for fans, however, theAttack on Titanmanga ended quite a while ago now, back in 2021, after serializing for about 12 years since 2009. The anime has also ended recently, over a year ago in 2023.
In other words, fans don’t really have anything to look forward to, or so they believed. Indeed, recently, the producer of the series, Tetsuya Kinoshita, revealed that theAttack on Titanseries will be getting more content. It was confirmed by him that there are plans to make more movies for the series like the most recent one, Attack on Titan: The Last Attack.
This is definitely good news for fans, as this will be the only animated content fans can really look forward to now for the franchise. This is what Tetsuya Kinoshita had to say exactly:
“We plan to continue creating films like LAST ATTACK, concerts like this one, and various game collaborations moving forward.” - Tetsuya Kinoshita
One thing to keep in mind, however, is that these movies Tetsuya Kinoshita is talking about might not be anything new, content-wise. He comparedthe new movies tothe Last Attackfilm.This movie was nothing more than a recap or a compilation of the last episodes of theAttack on Titanseries. While that’s nice in its own way, it’s not the most interesting movie the series can get, especially as the content is already out there.
It would definitely be nice if new stories surrounding theAttack on Titanworld were told in newer movies instead. An example of that could be a movie about the Great Titan War, a topic that could definitely be explored more deeply. Another possibility could be the adaptation of theAttack on Titanspin-off series known asAttack on Titan: Before The Fall. Either way, there is definitely a lot to explore in this world, and doing only compilation movies would definitely be a letdown for fans.

Tetsuya Kinoshita didn’t just mention the new movies. He also briefly spoke of the potential for new concerts, as well as video games.
New and betterAttack on Titanvideo games would definitely be phenomenal for the series. As fans know, the series already has a few video games out, but they can definitely do better in that department. TheAttack On Titanworld has a lot of potential for great games, so fans will have to wait and see what is in store for the series in the future.
