Summary

From causing a massive earthquake with a single punch to turning into a colossal dragon the size of a city, the world ofOne Pieceis filled to the brim with powerful people. This is true for the Pirates, the Marines, the Revolutionaries, and other people who hold a position of power in any organization.

That being said, there are characters in the series who are supposed to be villains, yet they prove to be rather weak. These villains are not weak just because Luffy has mastered his Gear 5 now. They were already considered weak when they first showed up in the story. So with that in mind, here are the weakest villains inOne Piece.

10Mr. 5

An Explosive Man With A Weak Body

Mr. 5 isa high-ranking member of the Baroque Works, an evil underground organization led by Crocodile. His Devil Fruit power allows him to cause explosions with every part of his body, including his boogers, which he uses as explosive projectiles. He has terrorized the people and the knights of Arabasta with his terrifying power.

With such explosive ability, Mr. 5 should be considered strong, right? Well, not really. In his first encounter with Luffy, Mr. 5 tries to attack the rubber man to no avail. In fact, Luffy knocks him down without even meaning to do so. Luffy is angry at Zoro at the time, and Mr. 5 just happens to be in his way.

9Yeti Cool Brothers

Cool, But Not That Powerful

The Yeti Cool Brothers are a pair of assassins hired by Caesar Clown to take out the Straw Hats. As implied by their names, they are furry giants who are used to living in a cold climate. Armed with sniper rifles, these brothers can take out their enemies from afar. And the fact that they are giants means they boast tremendous physical strength as well.

The Yeti Cool Brothers may be expert marksmen with incredible physical strength, but that doesn’t mean they are powerful. In fact, when Trafalgar Law accidentally stumbles upon these two inthe snowy mountains of Punk Hazard, a single attack is all it takes to put these furry giants down.

8Bellamy

A Man Beaten By A Single Punch

Bellamy is quite possibly the most famous case ofa proud villain who turns out to be weak. His Devil Fruit ability allows him to turn his limbs into springs, which enables him to bounce around at incredibly high speeds and deliver a strong attack using that momentum.

In their first encounter, Bellamy mocks Luffy and his crew without knowing who they actually are. Soon after, he challenges Luffy in a duel. Bellamy turns his legs into springs and bounces around until he builds enough speed to deliver a super-powerful attack to Luffy. Unfortunately for Bellamy, a single punch is all it takes to knock him down to the ground. Luffy doesn’t even use his Gum-Gum power. It’s just a good old right hook.

7Buffalo

Great At Support, Terrible At Offense

Buffalo isone of the officers within the Doflamingo Pirates. Similar to Baby 5, he has been part of the crew since he was small. He ate the Spin-Spin fruit, which allows him to change any part of his body or clothes into propellers. This ability allows him to fly and attack his enemies from above.

While Buffalo’s Devil Fruit ability is useful as a means of transportation, it’s not really useful in combat. Sure, he can create a mini tornado when he turns his entire body into a massive propeller, but it doesn’t cause that much damage. That’s why he usually teams up with an offensive specialist like Baby 5. That is also why Usopp and Nami’s attack is enough to take him down.

6Absalom

A Tank With No Offensive Power

Absalom is one of the generals inGecko Moria’s Thriller Bark Pirates. Like most of the crew and the zombies there, Absalom’s body has undergone so many experiments and modifications to gain strength and durability that far surpasses regular humans. He is truly built like a tank. Not only that, but he also consumed a devil fruit that allows him to turn invisible.

While the strength and invisibility certainly sound threatening, Absalom is not that powerful. In fact, his primary method of attack involves a pair of bazookas mounted on his arms. He uses his ability to hide the weapons, making it as if his hands can cause explosions from afar. But Sanji sees through Absalom’s deceptions. In a matter of minutes, Sanji dismantles Absalom’s Bazookas and launches a barrage of high-powered kicks that knock Absalom down.

5Caribou

A Useless Swamp Man

Caribou is an up-and-coming pirate captainwho is known for his sadistic and ruthless actions. He ate the Swamp-Swamp fruit, which allows him to turn his body into a swamp. This ability is not only great for defense because any attacks can simply pass through him, but it can also act as storage. After all, Caribou’s swamp can absorb anything it touches, no matter the amount or the size.

While his ability can certainly become a problem for enemies weaker than him, it is useless against strong opponents like the Straw Hats or anybody who knows how to use Haki. Even Franky can capture Caribou and place him inside a barrel without any trouble.

4Kurozumi Orochi

Eight Lives Are Wasted On Orochi

With the help of the Thousand Beasts Kaidou,Kurozumi Orochi usurped the thronefrom its rightful heir, Kozuki Oden, and became the new Shogun of the Wano Country. To ensure he has a power befitting his new title, Orochi ate the Snake-Snake Fruit, Model: Eight-Headed Serpent. As the name suggests, this zoan-type devil fruit allows him to transform into an eight-headed serpent.

Despite how terrifying his transformation looks, the eight serpent heads simply mean Orochi has eight lives. Sure, his eight-headed serpent form increases his strength and allows him to attack in multiple directions at the same time. But that amount of power shouldn’t be a problem for anybody who survives the New World. To take his life, all you need to do is cut off all of his heads. And that is precisely what the samurai from the Red Scabbards do.

3Duval

An Unfortunate Minor Villain

Duval is one of the villains who appear in the early part ofthe Sabaody Archipelago arc. He is the leader of a kidnapping gang called Flying Fish Riders. Unfortunately, he has the same face as the sketch in Sanji’s wanted poster before the time skip. This turns him into the target of the Marines and bounty hunters.

Duval is a tall and strong guy and a competent rider. Other than that, he doesn’t have any special abilities or even martial arts knowledge. That’s why Sanji can easily drop him without breaking a sweat. But rather than doing that, Sanji decided to use his powerful kicks to change the bone structure of Duval’s face, giving him a completely new look.

2Spandam

A Weak & Incompetent Government Employee

Spandam is the head of CP9,the most powerful and dangerous intelligence agencywithin the World Government. He inherited his position from his father, Spandine, the previous head of CP9. Unlike CP9 agents, who are trained killers with numerous deadly techniques along with devil fruit abilities, Spandam is just a regular human.

Spandam’s only notable offensive prowess comes from his sword, which can transform into an elephant. Other than that, he is pretty much harmless. In fact, young Franky, who hadn’t undergone any body modification yet, managed to cause permanent damage to Spandam’s face.

1Saint Charlos

The Most Despicable Character In One Piece

Saint Charlos is a World Noble, also known as Celestial Dragon, who appears in the Sabaody Archipelago Arc. Like most Celestial Dragons, Saint Charlos looks down on every non-noble, like a human looking down on bugs. He loves to capture anybody who piques his interest and uses his status and influence to enslave them. He is a despicable human in every sense of the word.

Other than his status as a Celestial Dragon, Saint Charlos doesn’t have any power whatsoever. He is arguably weaker than a regular human because he has never done any physical labor in his life. That’s why a single punch from Luffy is enough to knock this repulsive man out cold. That is also why he is the weakest and most reprehensible villain inOne Piece.
