Killingham’s decision to makeuse of the Transponder Snailsis not just about delivering a message, as paramount as it is to the progression of the series, but also a genius tactical move in subjugating Elbaf. Since the God’s Knights began their abduction plan, this historical land has been left in disarray. The giants were trying their best to keep the situation caused by “unknown enemies” in control, putting out fires and defeating the imaginary monsters spawned by the children of Elbaf. Imagine the panic that comes with realizing that the unknown enemies have found their way into the heart of the land.
By hijacking Elbaf’s communication system, the God’s Knights have turned this forceful invasion into a psychological domination, putting their prey at an impasse with words and propaganda.
Now, they can achieve more by doing less. If their cards are played right and without any intervention, this broadcast could very well signal the end of Elbaf. Whether to blackmail them with their children or announce a Buster Call that would be the icing on the cake of the commotion, theGod’s Knights’ upper hand is way higherthan it seems. The broadcast has not yet begun, but the setup alone changes everything.

Elbaf Might Be The First Step In World Eradication
TheWorld Government has a lot of secrets, secrets that come into the light the more fans follow Luffy on his journey to become Pirate King. There was the complete erasure of the history of the Void Century and a more recent discovery of Imu, the king on the throne of a supposedly leaderless organization. Previously, attempting to destroy the world, as crazy as it sounds, is a feat the World Government is capable of. But destroying the world again? That’s not such a stretch. Their plan this time might be to use the strength of the legendary Elbaf, by whatever means necessary, to ensure total annihilation. And that might be the Killingham’s grand reveal.

Going by Gunko’s irritation, the World Government planned to eradicate the world without a trace, the same waythe Kingdom of Lulusia was destroyedand erased from history, but the likes of Vegapunk and Clover saw through their plan and announced it to the world. A war is now unavoidable, and securing the strength of Elbaf through complete domination makes their end goal feasible. Killingham vaguely declares their plans while showing the people of Elbaf that they have no choice but to comply, which is not unexpected of a God’s Knight.

Loki’s Failed Recruitment
The World Government wants Elbaf, by hook or by crook, and the events leading up to Killingham’s broadcast were not their first approach to ensuring Elbaf was in their arsenal. Their original plan was to recruitLoki, the accursed prince of Elbaf, into their ranks. As a menace with ancient Giant blood who might share their dream of world destruction, Loki would have been a massive plus for the World Government. However, Loki despises the World Government and the messenger sent to recruit him, Figarland Shamrock.

Loki’s defiance made Shamrock summon Sommers and Killingham, changing the plan from recruiting Elbaf’s strength as shrewdly as possible to forcefully taking it by breaking them, and Killingham’s broadcast in the recent chapter could be a psychological means to this end.

By the end of chapter 1146, everything is ready. The Transponder Snails have been tested and are active. The defenders of the Walrus school are neutralized. Saul is heavily damaged and incapacitated, leaving Robin and Chopper nowhere to run. And the other Straw Hats on-site are in a bind with Gunko.
