There are a couple of secret bosses you’re able to track down and defeat inClair Obscur Expedition 33to earn special rewards, trophies, and achievements. While definitely a challenge to take down, theSprongboss is actually one of the easier “secret” fights when compared to the likes ofSimonandSerpenphare.
You will need to first unlock theswimming ability for Esquie before you can reach Sprong. This will happen at the end of Act 1 ofExpedition 33.
Where to Find Sprong in Clair Obscur Expedition 33
you may find Sprong walking around in the water on The Continent, justsouth of Blades' Graveyard/Forgotten Battlefield and Northeast of Crimson Forest/Endless Tower. The dangerous Nevron is really hard to miss, as it’s really tall. Once you bump into it with Esquie, the fight will begin.
Tips for Beating Sprong
It’s worth noting that when we defeated Sprong, we hadalready completed the main story and a good chunk of side content, so ourlevels were creeping towards the 80s range. With that being said, Sprong might be better challenged once you progress more into the game.
If you’re just starting out and trying to beat Sprong upon first encounter, it will not be easy (unless you canmanage to parry and dodge all of its moves). However, if you are going to try and take it down the old-fashioned way and not grind, be sure tobring a weapon that deals Lightning damage -Sprong is weak to it and will take extra damage.
If you’re a fan of using Maelle in your party (as you should be), we have adedicated Maelle build guidehere that you can use to knock Sprong’s socks off.
