Announced during the Nintendo Switch 2 Direct livestream in April,Yakuza 0 Director’s Cutwill improve the fan-favorite titlein several major ways, including graphical improvements and the introduction of a brand-new four-player online mode, Red Light Raid. Fans can also expect around 26 minutes of new cutscenes, detailing more of the lives of the ever-popular characters Kiryu Kazuma and Goro Majima. While the original 2015 title only came with a Japanese audio track,Yakuza 0 Director’s Cutwill include a complete English dub cast, making it even more accessible to a wider range of players. Now, the faces behind the game’s memorable characters have been revealed.
Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio and Sega have officially revealed the English voice cast for Yakuza 0 Director’s Cut, with Yong Yea stepping into the role of thelegendary protagonist Kiryu Kazumaand Matt Mercer playing the eccentric mad dog Goro Majima. Other notable names on the cast list include Alejandro Saab (Akihiko Sanada,Persona 3 Reload), Kaiji Tang (Ichiban Kasuga,Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth), and Bill Millsap (The Punisher,Marvel Rivals). Along with character trailers for both Kazuma and Majima, an additional video has been shared containing the theme song forYakuza 0 Director’s Cut, “Bubble” by Shonan no Kaze.
