The new areas are also said to be much larger than pastZenless Zone Zerolocations, with a more free-roam environment than many of the pre-existing spots around New Eridu. Now, the game’s fast travel map is set to receive a major overhaul as well.
Zenless Zone Zero Leak Reveals In-Game Map Update
A new update shared by prominent HoYoverse leaker Mero is giving players a first look atZenless Zone Zero’s re-designed map system. The image showcases a major change to the visual style ofZenless Zone Zero’s map, replacing the scrolling list of locations with a topographical map of New Eridu. The map features several locations already shown inZenless Zone Zero, giving an idea of the proximity between pre-existing locations like Sixth Street, Scott Outpost, andLumina Square among others. The map update and Version 2.0 are set to launch on June 4.
The new changes toZenless Zone Zero’s map come as HoYoverse has teased plenty for players to do inZenless Zone Zero’s new locations. The previously-mentioned Suibian Temple will reportedly see a new management-style mini-game added toZenless Zone Zero, likely building on the foundation established bythe “Random Play” video store. Other new locations like Aerospace City and the Lemnian Hollow are also expected to be added to the game as part of the Version 2.0 update.
Zenless Zone Zero’s recent Version 1.7 update looks to be sending the game’s first “season” off with a bang, with a plethora of new content. The update saw two new characters added to the game, with Vivian debuting during the update’s first half and Hugo coming with the second half.
